1. Scope and contact
This policy covers Our Secret Ending, including Android testing releases, under package name com.hypercentgames.oursecretending. Hypercent Studio, also known as Hypercent Games, operates the game. Contact hello@hypercentgames.com for privacy questions, support or requests about your information.
Visits to this website, including the interactive story preview, are covered by our website privacy policy. Google and Unity also have policies for the services they provide.
2. Your stories and saved progress
The game saves reading progress, choices, discovered endings, language and display preferences, and the state of your Full Game Unlock on your device. You do not need to create a Hypercent account to read. The current game does not provide Hypercent cloud saves, public profiles, leaderboards or player-to-player messaging.
Reading data is used to resume your stories and display your collection. It is not sent to Hypercent as a gameplay-history feed. Android backup and device-transfer features may retain app data according to your device and Google account settings.
3. Purchases and technical information
The optional, one-time Full Game Unlock uses Google Play Billing through Unity In-App Purchasing. Google processes the payment. The game receives product, transaction and entitlement information to grant access, confirm a purchase and restore an existing unlock. Hypercent does not receive your payment card number or Google password.
Purchase services can process transaction history, service or installation identifiers, device and app information, session information, IP-derived approximate location, and diagnostic or performance records. Unity describes these uses as supporting its purchase service, analytics, reliability and security. Email or account identifiers may also be processed where supplied by the store or purchase flow; the game does not ask you to enter an email address to read.
The current game does not include an advertising service or a separately enabled gameplay-analytics service. That does not mean its purchase providers process no information. Purchases and restoration require an internet connection.
4. Support and service providers
If you contact us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use these to respond, troubleshoot and handle your request. Please do not send passwords, payment card details or sign-in codes.
Google provides Play Store and payment services. Unity provides the purchase integration and related services. Website delivery and support-email providers are described in our website policy. See the Google Privacy Policy and Unity Privacy Policy for their processing, including where they act independently.
We do not sell your game personal information. Information may be disclosed to service providers, where required by law, or where reasonably needed to protect people, investigate misuse or handle a business transfer. Providers may process information outside your country.
5. Retention and deleting information
Local progress remains on your device until it is removed or overwritten. To remove it, open Android Settings, find Our Secret Ending under Apps, and clear its storage. This removes your local reading progress, choices and discovered endings. Review Android backup settings separately if you also want to remove backed-up data.
Clearing storage does not cancel a completed store purchase or request deletion of Google or Unity records. Restore Purchases can recover Full Game Unlock when you use the Google Play account that purchased it. Restoration does not recover deleted story progress.
Email hello@hypercentgames.com with “Our Secret Ending privacy request” to request access, correction or deletion of information held by Hypercent. Describe the request and provide only the information needed to identify the relevant support conversation or transaction. There is no Hypercent game account to close.
We retain support correspondence as needed to resolve requests and maintain relevant records. We may retain information required for legal obligations, security or disputes. Where a provider processes information for us, we will coordinate relevant requests with that provider. Records controlled independently by Google or Unity follow their own retention and request procedures. Unity's purchase service does not provide a self-service deletion button in this game.
6. Your choices and privacy rights
You can read the free chapters without buying an unlock, manage purchases through Google Play, clear local app storage, and contact us about your information. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights to obtain a copy, restrict processing or object to certain uses, and to contact your local data-protection authority. We may request reasonable verification before disclosing or deleting information.
We use information as needed to provide requested game and support features, fulfil applicable obligations, and maintain service security and reliability. Where consent is legally required for a particular use, that use must be subject to the applicable consent process.
7. Permissions, security and younger players
The game does not request camera, microphone, contacts or precise-location access for reading. Network access supports purchases and linked pages; vibration supports device feedback. Store-service communications use encrypted connections. No storage or transmission system can guarantee absolute security.
Stories may contain mature narrative themes; consult the age and content information shown in the applicable store listing. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can investigate and arrange appropriate removal.
8. Changes to this policy
We will update this page and its date when the game's data practices change. Material changes will also be reflected in applicable store disclosures and, where appropriate, in the game.
